It is the 10,000th cycle since humanity flung itself across the disparate star systems. After many bloody wars, we have established relative peace through trade, communication and politesse.
You play as a Kosmo Knight. You could be sponsored by a Noble house that controls a planetary sector within the Alliance Cosmic or a Guild that commands vast resources and power. You have been trained most of your life to pilot a Mechanized Exoshell for Combat Handling, simply known as a MECH.
Built originally to wage war, this machine is now used to take part in an interstellar tournament known only as the KOSMO Joust!
